The implementation of 5G network in India and it’s launch date currently by the network operators such as Jio, Airtel and Vi

India’s 5G network will ride on indigenous technology. The 5G launch date in India is on the 15th August next year which is the 75th Independence day of the country. Ericsson, Nokia and Samsung are making their hardware equipment in India and will supply the 5G network providers with their hardware in order to launch 5G.

Airtel and Tata Group on Monday announced a strategic partnership for development and implementation of 5G network solutions for India. Sunil Mittal’s company Airtel will pilot and deploy this indigenous solution and start the pilot in January 2022, as per the guidelines to announce 5G launch date in India formulated by the Government of India.

 Airtel and Qualcomm Technologies are collaborating to enable a wide array of use cases, including 5G Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) in order to deliver broadband connectivity at Gigabit speeds to homes and businesses. Their collaboration will further strengthen the probability to announce a concrete launch date of 5G in India

Jio’s Plan to launch 5G in India

Reliance Jio’s chairman Mukesh Ambani said in the agm of Reliance Jio that Jio will be the first to launch 5G in India. Jio has already laid a significant amount of fiber cables which they will use to launch high speed broadband service in India very quickly. That fiber system will help in providing backbone the 5G launch in India.

Reliance has announced that jio fiberr has reached 3 million homes since it’s launch of which 2 million were just added in the last year. Jio said that they will use Google cloud to power it’s 5g solutions in future and for also powering Reliance Retail, JioMart, JioSaavn, and JioHealth.

Vi’s plan to compete in 5G rollout

Vodafone Idea Ltd (Vi) on Monday announces it is ready for the rollout of 5G wireless service, after rival Bharti Airtel Ltd recently gives a demo that its network is ready for a commercial launch of the technology as soon as the government gives the permission and makes the spectrum available. The spectrum bands of 3300 Mhz and 3600 mhz are expensive Takkar told analysts. Besides, lack of clarity on use cases and technology and an underdeveloped ecosystem could impact the launch.Vi is in active discussions with potential investors for proposed fundraising of up to ₹25,000 crore in debt and equity, Takar said that they ae talking with the investors and the fundraising will begin soon.
